About Us

Thank you for your interest in our product.  During this pandemic our family stayed in touch and attempted to stay sane by constantly texting memes.  One of those was something along the lines of, "Remember when we used to blow on our food before sharing it?  Good times!" with an image of a birthday cake.   This sparked an idea in my father and with the help of the entire family we developed Clean Wish Candle Holders.

It was clear that we needed to find a way to make this tradition safe, yet as similar as possible to the standard way.  Sure you can cut a piece of cake for the candle, or wave them out with a paper plate, but what fun is that? Having young kids ourselves, we know how important it is to get that classic photo of the kids blowing out their candles on the cake that we likely spent good time and money on with the theme they just had to have.  And that is how Clean Wish Candle Holders went from a meme to a product.  

Our family consists of Lyle and Denise - Mom, Dad and loving grandparents.   Lyle, now retired, had a successful career in engineering and manufacturing which was a huge advantage in quickly and successfully getting this product to market in such a short time period -- not to mention his genius in designing the product. Victoria, (me) their eldest daughter, my husband Chip and daughters Lily and Danielle.  We are all originally from California, but now reside in Texas.  Linda, the younger daughter, her husband Scott and their two kids, Jeremy and Katherine still live in California.   Although we live in separate states we (with the exception of 2020), travel together every summer and try to spend as many school breaks together as possible.  

This product has really been a family collaboration.  Katherine and Danielle modeled for the boxes and advertising photos.  Linda, an English teacher, helped write and edit and revise the marketing literature. Victoria, with a history in PR and marketing, is working on getting the word out so all families can safely celebrate together.  Katherine, the youngest of us all, is the editor for most of the instructional videos!  And we all took one for the team and ate lots and lots and LOTS of cake while in quarantine for research purposes. :)

Clean Wish Candle Holders is definitely a family product - For our family and for yours.  We want to help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible now and in the future.  No one should have to worry about the health of their guests when celebrating together!
